Terrington church has a standard layout with chancel to the east, followed by a larger nave and then a tower at the west end.  Although it has been much rebuilt the south wall of the nave retains early features and the masonry style is similar to that found at Bulmer.  Within the aisles the south wall of the nave contains much herringbone work on the exposed exterior wall.  Sitting above this at one point is a wide Romanesque window set in normal coursed rubble.
