Stanton on Hine Heath

A tower, nave and chancel church.  The lower dozen courses of the chancel and nave consist of near ashlar quality red sandstone masonry.  Above that on the north wall are a few courses of herringbone masonry with some small Romanesque windows.  Above this is some well coursed rubble.  There are Romanesques doorways to north and south.  The south side once had an aisle whose removal necessitated the rebuilding of the nave wall.
