Flixton

Flixton church is difficult to find, the village having virtually disappeared, but it's ruins lie some 3 miles northwest of Lowestoft town centre.  They are heavily overgown and show the ruins of a nave with a crypt.  One standing fragment of nave wall is composed of small blocks of stone, towards the summit of which are some Roman tiles laid in herringbone fashion.

My thanks go to David Butcher for bringing this site to my attention.
