Wells Cathedral

Ann Darracott of the Maidenhead Civic Society reports a shield liable to represent Earl Edmund Mortimer of March (d.1425) which was spotted in the north quire aisle of Wells Cathedral.

It is flanked by two further coats of arms, one for Duke Thomas of Clarence (d.1421) and the other a royal coat of arms that propbably represented King Henry V (d.1422).
