Stanage Church
Stanage was another Richards Castle barony vill and therefore the church belonged to the Mortimers of Richards Castle from 1211 to 1304. Sometime, probably during the reign of King John (1199-1216), Stanage was given to Brian Brampton of Brampton Bryan.
