Downton-on-the-Rock Church
This was another church granted to the Mortimers of Wigmore around 1075 and then passed on by them to Wigmore abbey.
The church is now ruined, but has a narrow 'Norman' chancel arch and two windows possibly of later date. There is a further ruined window in the nave which may be later again in date.
