Burwarton Church
Burwarton was
another vill that was held by the Mortimers of Wigmore at Domesday. The
church has been ruinous although the chancel arch, two doorways and two
windows
can still be made out in the early chancel and nave. The early font has
been moved to the modern church, while the redundant church [left] has been made into a modern dwelling [right].
